Coffee #1 – Swindon

We’ve had a great, longstanding relationship with Coffee #1, we’ve supplied and installed a wide range of products at multiple sites across the UK. Each site had a similar specification in terms of product and layout, which includes a large bespoke dishwasher area, tabling and sinks. In terms of refrigeration equipment, Coffee #1 sites have utilised our vast choice of refrigeration solutions by incorporating chest freezers, display fridges, upright and under-counter fridges or freezers to store their stock.

We were also responsible for supplying and installing appliances like microwaves, panini machines, water boilers, blenders and toasters at all stores, as well as shelving and fly killers. We are extremely pleased with the result at every new Coffee #1 store, of which we have been involved with over 50 and hope this relationship will continue in the future.

The Dock Bar & Kitchen

Previously home to the Terra Nova, this site was closed for six months and underwent a major refurbishment, which involved a complete revamp that resulted in tripling the kitchen capacity.

Some existing kit was refurbished by us and reused but the majority of the products were brand new and installed by us. These included a Flight-type dishwasher, the first of its kind that we have fitted.

Additionally, we installed glass washing equipment, coffee machines, a canopy system and tabling for the whole site. There were some bespoke elements to the fabrication in order to maximise the floor space, while the site also required extensive refrigeration installed.

Elevens Bar & Grill

We were delighted to work on this prestigious new development in Cardiff. Formerly known as Dempseys, Elevens Bar and Grill is a joint venture between SA Brain and Co and Welsh international footballer Gareth Bale.

The project represented a first sports bar for Brains and the first investment of this type that Bale has made in his home town. We were delighted to be entrusted with designing and fitting the kitchen.

The kitchen was built to the highest standards, and also designed with a specific purpose in mind. The nature of the sports bar meant that it needed to be able to cope with turning around high volumes of orders in short amounts of time – half time during games, for example.

Here at HB Catering and Refrigeration, we completed the full kitchen installation, which included redesigning the layout and making it fit for its new purpose.

We supplied and installed comprehensive and high spec cooking facilities, refrigeration solutions, a new dishwashing area, and fully bespoke stainless steel work surfaces made to measure. We also supplied various types of cooking equipment and prep equipment – all with the specific needs of the client in mind.
