The Social Bean in Swansea is a social enterprise coffee shop that serves delicious, healthy food and drink, as well as providing work experience to disabled people who may otherwise miss out on employment.

All profits from the Social Bean go to Leonard Cheshire Cymru, a charity supporting people of all abilities to live life as freely and independently as they choose throughout Wales.

Here at HB Catering and Refrigeration, we were delighted to work on a project such as this, which makes such an important difference to people’s lives.

The project required a bespoke approach to fulfil some of the unique needs of the kitchen in the café.

We supplied and installed a new washing area and refrigeration solutions while also supplying a range of equipment from coffee machines to grinders to panini makers to microwaves.
