This Oil 4 Wales filling station in Nantycaws underwent extensive building and redevelopment works to create a new community hub, shop, and restaurant.

The new development by the company, which provides oil and fuel supplies to 90,000 customers nationwide, was also designed to host meet-and-great evenings with Oil 4 Wales’s rugby ambassadors including Ken Owens, Jonathan Davies, and Go Compare opera star Wynne Evans.

Here at HB Catering and Refrigeration, we were delighted to be involved in the project. We drew the plans, supplied and installed all the equipment for the front servery and kitchen area for the new restaurant at the premises.

This project had certain unique challenges. Because of its proximity to a filling station, none of the equipment could be gas powered; therefore, all the equipment we used ran off the electric mains.

We installed high spec bespoke equipment including a combi oven, electric hobs, various refrigeration units, bespoke fabricated tabling and sinks, stainless steel shelves and a dish-washing area. We also supplied smaller equipment such as a water boiler, blender, grinder, coffee machine and microwaves.
